Chambers’ Apothecary strives to provide a number of clinical services to go along with our traditional dispensing services. Take a look at the additional services that we offer to take care of our patients.

Immunizations (In Store)

Chambers’ Apothecary offers a full line of immunizations with no need for an appointment. Our pharmacists are fully trained to screen, administer, and counsel patients on vaccinations. We’ll help you and your family stay up-to-date on vaccines. Currently, Pennsylvania allows pharmacists to administer the influenza vaccine to patients age 9 and older. All other vaccines are available for patients age 18 and older.

Comprehensive Medication Review

What is a comprehensive medication review?

Medication therapy management services are offered by health insurance companies to help members get the best results from their medications. Included in these services are yearly medication reviews where a pharmacist assesses your prescriptions, supplements, and over the counter medications for safety and efficacy. We’ll look for potential medication conflicts, duplications, side effects, or cost savings. This also provides a great opportunity to ask us questions and further optimize your medications. We refer to these reviews as your yearly medication check-up and it is crucial to make sure that your medication needs are being met and any concerns are being addressed.

Comprehensive Medication Review

How does it work?

If you’re eligible for a medication review or other related services, we’ll contact you by phone or in person at the store. We will schedule a convenient time to go over your medications in person or over the phone. After the review, we’ll work with you and your doctor, if necessary, to resolve any medicine-related concerns. If needed, we can also schedule a follow up appointment to further resolve or monitor any medication changes. We will mail you a medication list as well as recap of the items that we discussed during the review. This gives you a great tool to continue the conversation with your doctor, should you still have any additional concerns. At Chambers’ we are committed to your overall health, and these yearly reviews give us a great opportunity to optimize your medications!
